What is Candida

Everyone has Candida, and a significant number of us may have an overgrowth of Candida, which is also known as Candidiasis. Candida starts to cause trouble when there is some change in your body that allows it to overgrow.

Contributing factors to Candida overgrowth:

  • Diet rich in carbohydrates and sugar
  • Frequent or long term antibiotic use
  • Copper & Mercury toxicity
  • Weak and/or toxic liver (alcohol)
  • Diabetes
  • Stress
  • Mineral deficiency
  • Use of oral contraceptives, steroids, antacids

Typical symptoms of Candidiasis:

  • Fatigue, feel depleted or exhausted
  • Brain fog, memory loss
  • Weight gain
  • Sinus blockage
  • Muscle aching or weakness
  • Constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, gas or belching
  • Anxiety attacks or crying
  • Cold hands and feet
  • Vaginal itching, burning or discharge
  • Loss of sexual desire
  • Endometriosis or infertility
  • Menstrual irregularity or cramping
